She studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and was a co-founder/co-director of 5RT\, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world. \nIn response to Gabrielle Roth’s investigation into what it means to be an authentic human being Lorca created Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre\, which is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. The dance is our vehicle\, our destination is the Rhythm of Stillness; our challenge is to be a vessel that keeps moving and changing.” Jonathan Horan \n\n\nIt is magical when snowflakes or hoarfrost wrap trees\, meadows and forests in a white dress and a wintry cold slows down the bustle of everyday life.\n\nThe time of the longest nights invites us to pause and take a breath. When the mind calms down through movement\, our senses can naturally open up to the magic that lies hidden in the winter silence.\n\nDuring these five workshop days\, we will treat ourselves to an inner retreat at Seminarhaus Hollerbühl\, where we will approach the upcoming New Year in movement.\nDancing through the first four of the 5Rhythms prepares the ground for arriving at the fifth rhythm\, the silence. Breath by breath we become still in movement. Let our inner selves shape us. Pause\, like a pendulum at the reversal point.
