“Recognizing that your struggle and your suffering is the same as everyone else’s, I think that’s the beginning of a responsible live. Otherwise, we are in a continual savage battle with each other with no possible solution, political, social or spiritual.” Leonard Cohen
This workshop is an invitation to cultivate an open and embodied heart, and to explore what it means to meet ourselves and each other with honesty, care, and awareness.
Compassion begins where we truly meet ourselves. Through movement, breath, and embodied awareness, we create a space where nothing needs to be judged or fixed. This workshop offers a grounded and accessible pathway to reconnect with ourselves – just as we are.
We explore how compassion arises through presence. As we allow our feelings and sensations to move and be felt, empathy naturally unfolds – opening the door to a deeper, more stable experience of compassion.
In the dance, we discover how compassion can be expressed in the body: as softness, strength, vulnerability, and presence. Moving with what is, we begin to sense a deeper connection—to ourselves, to others, and to our shared humanity.
This workshop is an invitation to cultivate an open and embodied heart, and to explore what it means to meet ourselves and each other with honesty, care, and awareness.
