The Untamed Heart

What if we let our tears flow like a river when we are deeply sad? When we laugh from the bottom of our hearts, when we are happy? What holds us back from venting our anger or showing our anxious self to someone? What tames and paralyzes us? And how do we then open doors to the heart?
It is a great process to reclaim the whole range of our emotional world and include it in our vocabulary – to feel it, express it and let it go again. If fear, anger, sadness, joy and compassion are allowed to move through us, how untamed and direct can we connect? What heartfelt gifts can we then give to the world?

In Heartbeat, we explore our feelings as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging on to them nor pushing them away.

This workshop counts as 5 days of Heartbeat experience towards the 5R Teacher Training.

and will be taught in English with a possible translation into German, Spanish or Italian if required.

LOCATION
This is not a residential workshop and we are off season and it definitely needs an adventurous spirit to join!

The untamed Heart takes place at the Osho Afroz Meditation Center in Eressos on the island of Lesbos in Greece. It is spring and probably the most beautiful time on the island, as everything is green, blossoming and has a typical smell of herbs growing wild everywhere.

Eressos is a small village on the southwest coast of Lesbos, the birthplace of the (ancient) Greek poet Sappho. It is a remote village (Eressos) with a beach part (Skala Eressos) that welcomes alternative tourism and seekers of self discovery, inclusion, relaxation and simplicity from all over the world.
Osho Afroz is located in a quiet valley surrounded by volcanic mountains, low hills and olive trees. It is 4 km from the beach and Skala Eressos, where you will find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, small hotels and stores. As it is spring, we are out of season, which means that the center is closed to visitors and will only be open for us so that we can enjoy the vibrant and colorful nature and the silence there .

FOOD
We will have lunch outside between the morning and afternoon sessions. Bring your own food and something to share for the picnic if you like. You can stock up on food in the restaurants and supermarkets in Skala and the village of Eressos.
The accommodation also has a kitchen in one way or another.
